Ms. Loesch was founding President, CEO, and the key architect of FOX Kids Networks, Worldwide. She literally re-shaped the landscape of children's television with a creative strategy that merged diversified, quality programming with innovative and aggressive marketing.

Most recently, Ms. Loesch was the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of Crown Media United States and its U. S. As the U.S. Hallmark Channel's first President and CEO, she was the key architect for the cable television programming service.

Ms. Loesch has also been President and CEO of Marvel Productions, a company she helped build and maneuver through two ownership changes, was Executive Vice-President of Hanna-Barbera Productions, and Director of Children’s Programs at NBC TV.

She is a four-time Emmy Award winner, a George Foster Peabody Award winner, and recipient of the prestigious Chair Award from the Caucus for Television Producers, Writers, and Directors. She serves on the Board of Trustees of Sesame Workshop, producers of the esteemed, multi-award winning Sesame Street and is currently Vice-Chairman of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation.

Ms. Loesch and Joe Camp first worked together in the 1980s on a Benji television series for CBS, and they have been close friends since. When Camp began to plan the next Benji movie, he asked Ms. Loesch to help produce the project and while she was considering the proposition, she visited her old home town of Pass Christian, Mississippi. While there she was cajoled by a friend to knock on the door of the home where she had grown up as a child, just to take a peek inside. In conversation with the owner of the home, she discovered the man was a director of the Humane Society of South Mississippi and was the person who had personally introduced the new Benji to Joe Camp.

"After that, my decision was made," laughs Ms. Loesch. "When God speaks that loudly, we better listen."
