Benji Offers Movies and Books to Shelters and Rescue Groups
at Deeply Discounted Rates for Shelter Sales and Fundraisers

Links at www.Benji.com allow any charity making a positive difference for homeless animals, kids, and families to buy Benji products at prices substantially below wholesale to earn money to assist in their efforts

February 25, 2005 – Benji’s creator Joe Camp announced today that, in the canine superstar’s continuing efforts to make a positive difference in the lives of children and homeless animals, the pup’s website, www.benji.com, will now provide Benji movies and books at pricing near-cost for shelters and rescue groups wishing to use Benji related products for fundraisers. The offer is also being extended to parent-teacher groups and churches.

Any qualified charity relating to homeless animals and children can go to Benji’s website, click on the Fundraising button, and be guided quickly through the process. Revenue generated by these sales can be substantial, especially when used in conjunction with a Benji visit to help with fundraising.

Camp says that animal shelters will probably be the group able to take best advantage of the new program. Many shelters around the country have created stores within their facilities to capitalize on the needs of anyone adopting a new pet. Camp believes the Benji program can be especially beneficial to these shelters because they have the capability to sell to animal lovers every day. “Anyone adopting a new pet is more than likely going to be a Benji fan,” Camp said, “and Benji’s movies and books at these prices can seriously help the bottom line of the shelter.”

Camp expects two titles in particular to work the hardest because they seriously relate to everything a shelter is striving for: Benji’s latest movie Benji Off the Leash is all about homeless dogs and backyard puppy mills, and the famous pup’s new training manual Benji’s Amazing Miraculous Dog Training Book, is a non-regulation, out-of-the-box, completely new way for dog owners to view training their pet. Rather than being tedious, it’s fun!

Before starring in last summer’s release of Benji Off the Leash, the new Benji was adopted from a shelter in Gulfport, Mississippi after a search in shelters all across the nation. The original Benji was adopted from a shelter and that fact caused over a million adoptions according to the American Humane. Camp felt this was a worthwhile mission again, only this time he’s setting his sights at many more than a million adoptions.

Benji.com has become a respected website for much more than just information about Benji. It’s a rich resource for all sorts of good family-safe entertainment, recommended books for kids and parents, and news about issues that affect the family, like the risks associated with television watching, and common denominators in schools that excel.
